East Coast Trip 2009 Part 2

DAY FOUR. MAPS AND DRIVING.

Monday June 22.
After my mom and I picked up the rental car we then set off driving to Cape Cod. The drive was long and annoying cause every 5 minutes we had to check the map to make sure we weren't getting lost. Our first stop was Mc Donald's where we had a snack and bathroom stop and our second stop was in the town with Mystic Pizza. In the 80's there was a movie called Mystic Pizza and we went and ate there or rather my mom ate and I watched cause I was still full. We arrived in Cape Cod around 5pm and later ate dinner at a really good place called Spanky's Claim Shack. It was freezing and raining and because of that there wasn't much to do. We did walk around a little and look at the JFK memorial and beach. Sadly it was all in the rain=(

DAY FIVE. A DRIVE AROUND TOWN.
Tuesday June 23, there was rain all day long. This morning Grant called at 730am and woke me up out of a dead sleep, but it was good to hear from him. After breakfast we took a long drive to Chatam where we had lunch and found a library where we could check our e-mail for free! Then we had another long drive to Provence Town. This town was really cute, we walked around and had candied nuts and coffee. For dinner back in Cape Cod we went to a place called The Paddock and had a huge meal that was delicious!

DAY SIX. ON THE MOVE TO PLYMOUTH.
Wednesday June 24th, we went to the JFK museum and went by the store to get some snacks then we left Cape Cod and moved on to Plymouth. The drive there was not very long so we arrived in the afternoon. Once in Plymouth we took off on foot to tour the town. We saw Plymouth Rock and a replica of the May Flower and then we walked through the entire town. For dinner we each had a lobster, my first one, and man is that messy! I was also a little grossed out at the fact that there was something that looked like it could just walk away on my plate! That night after we had the lobster and some ice cream we realized we had seen the entire town! So we decided that the next day we would drive over to Salem cause it is only an hour away.
