I am 29... Finally!

On Saturday it was my 29th birthday, I am officially old!  We went to my mom's house and had dinner and a few drinks with some friends.  There were a lot of Halloween parties to choose from but I guess I just wasn't in the mood to dress up this year on my birthday weekend.  Plus my mom had just got back from Italy and I really wanted to see her and all her pictures!

On Sunday we stopped by Lacey's house to see the baby!  She is getting cuter every time I see her!

Dean can't wait till she is a little older, he was already showing her how to use the I phone.
Some good old brotherly love...  Its like when you love something so much you squeeze it till it screams!  Hazel is going to have to be tough and ready to fight ;)

San Francisco

Yesterday I got back from San Francisco and it was a really fun work trip, hard work but lots of fun.

 Out my hotel room window.

I loved the art in these Louis Vuitton windows, so cool!

 We found Grant street!!!
Ready for work in the hotel.
In front of our booth!

Photo Booth

One of the coolest things at the wedding we went to last weekend was the photo booth.  As the guests arrived they had to take a picture in the photo booth and it printed out 2 copies one for you and one for the bride, on the side was a book with empty pages where you attached the pictures and wrote a note!  I wish I had done something like this because the one thing at my wedding I didn't get pictures of were all of my guests.

Finally some Rain!

There was a rain storm this morning with lots of clouds and beautiful colors, it reminded me of NZ!
I think it is the first time it has rained in months and months.  It finally feels like fall has arrived and I love it!  I risked my life to take these pictures while driving but it was worth it because the sky was soo lovely!

I hope the rain keep coming...

Cooling Down

The weather here has finally started cooling down!  I am so excited it has started to feel like fall.  Its still pretty warm at noon, but the sun is going down earlier and earlier and that means that it will still be getting cooler.  The best part of the cooler weather is I can finally walk on my lunch break again.

Must be Wedding Season

We went to our second wedding in the last 2 months! I love it! Weddings are so much fun.  My friend Danielle got married yesterday and it was a beautiful wedding and day to be outside celebrating.  The wedding was in Temecula, we got there early and went to lunch before getting ready and taking a taxi from our lovely motel 6 location to the beautiful house.

First Anniversary

On October first it was our one year anniversary since being married!  It is very weird to think that just one year ago we were partying at our wedding.  Part of me feels like it was a long time ago and part of me feels like it was just yesterday.  So much has changed in just one year, we both have jobs we like and we are living on our own in a fun town.

Last night to celebrate we went to a restaurant in the Orange circle and had Mexican food and Margaritas (whats new).  I was very surprised when I came home and saw that Grant had bought me flowers.  I was searching for a vase to put them in when he said oh I think there is a vase in the bedroom.  So I went in the bedroom and he had got me another bunch of roses and then later he said oh it smells good in the bathroom ( I thought he was joking) so I went in there and there was another bunch of flowers!  He really did surprise me!

Just one year ago we were getting married!
We pulled the cake from our wedding out of the freezer and opened it up and it was covered in frostbite and smelled funny so we took a picture of it and threw it out hahhaha.  At least we tried the tradition.

Here is a little gift my mom got us!

At dinner we took a picture in the mirror (can you see us???)
It was a great anniversary and a great year of being married.  One thing I have learned is to let a lot of things go!  No need to start a fight over something small =)  I hope to learn a lot more as time goes on!
