Day 8 - Advise

Day 8, Wednesday: A piece of advice you have for others. Anything at all.

I am only 29 years old so most people would probably think what type of advise would a 29 year old be able to give?  Well when I was in high school and even my first years of college I look back now and realize that I was way too worried about what other people thought about me.  I felt uncomfortable if I wasn't wearing the right type of clothes ( and believe me I usually wasn't lol) or if I didn't know any one at a party I felt very self conscience.  I realized with age and time that it really does not matter if you don't feel like you fit in.  Most people who fit in aren't that cool anyways, and the funniest thing is looking back at pictures of me and my friends from high school and college and seeing the people in the pictures that at the time I thought were so cool, really didn't look any different than me anyways lol!

So my advise is to go out and be yourself and have fun or don't, just don't let other people and situations make you feel awkward because life is too fun to miss out on all because you are trying to be "cool".

And the only other piece of advise I have is do what you want to do and don't let the thought of what are my family and friends going to want me to do.  For instance before I moved to New Zealand I thought maybe I shouldn't go because my family will miss me and what if I stay longer there and everything changes.  It turned out that yes I did miss people but we stayed in touch and I did stay longer, but if I hadn't gone I would be a different person today and I would have missed out on one of the best times of my life!

On a side note I dyed my hair today!
 Before
After
I got a light brown even though my natural color is a dark blonde.  I am now again for the millionth time trying to grow out my natural color! What I do is I match up the roots with the color, but being careful not to cover the roots, its the opposite of what most people do lol.
