Story of my Life

 Day 1

The story of my life...

I was born and raised in southern California as an only child.  I was a cautious child who liked drawing and painting and doing crafts.  I always got good grades and followed the rules, not because I felt like I had to do what I was told, but because I guess I never felt I needed to rebel.  After I graduated from high school I went to Cal State Fullerton where I lived in the dorms and achieved my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.  After 2 years of working jobs that had nothing to do with art I mentioned to my mom that I wanted to travel and live in other countries, she sent an email to all of our international friends and I was propositioned to move to New Zealand and become a live in nanny.  I was meant to only live there for one year, but I met a really great guy (who I am now married to) and ended up living in NZ for 3 years.  In 2011 we both moved back to CA and got married.  We bought our first home a few months ago in 2013 and ever since then we have been making home updates.  I loved living abroad and I love traveling, but it is very hard to be so far from family and friends and I have never been happier to be home and able to see everyone I missed for so long whenever I want.
