Father's Day Weekend

On Father's Day weekend we went up to my parents house on Saturday and Emmett played in the pool while Grant did a job at the neighbors house.  The job ended up taking all day long! So we didn't really get to spend a lot of time with him hahhaha.  Luckily Sunday we were home and able to go swimming at our pool, which was a nice relief from the heat.

Summer has officially arrived with this heat!

Last Day of Class

Today was our last day of class for the summer.  We started school for Emmett when he was almost 18 months old and we have been going the whole year.  The class is a mommy and me class every Tuesday from 930 to 1130.  I feel like he has learned a lot and come a long way.  In the beginning he didn't want to dance or sing or participate in the activities and now a year later he is doing everything!  He really loves it and even asks me, when is class?

Its sorta sad we are stopping for the summer and possibly the Fall, but with the new baby coming I just don't think there will be time.  Maybe by winter we will be back.

First day of School!

 Last day of School!

He has come so far along and learned so much!

Hot Rods

This last Wednesday we took my grandpa to a hot rod party at the shop (where he use to have his business).  It was lots of fun to see everyone and of course Emmett loved seeing all the cars!
I think my grandpa really enjoyed seeing all of his friends, but after a few hours we were done.  He was worn out and ready to relax.

(he can walk, he was only in this chair so he could rest)

Art Party

Last Saturday we had our art party.  It turned out really great, lots of friends came by to see the art and have some drinks and food.

Here we are all set up and ready to go.

We sold stuff too!  But most importantly we had fun.

Around the House

This is what we have been doing around here lately.
The other night it was so nice out that we decided to go for a walk after dinner.
I think this would be a great thing to start doing throughout the summer.
Grant has been making these awesome doors for our "wash room". They look so good!  Today he started the hanging process.
I got these cute bins for the new baby's room and some needed kid hangers.

Now I just want to get a different lamp maybe 2 lamps.  I feel like we are already ready lol.  There is still a bunch of stuff we have to haul out of the garage right before my due date, but I am waiting till I am really close to do that.
 Beginning of my 6th month.

Already June!

It is hard to believe it's already June.  Less than 4 months and the baby will be here!  I am so excited to meet this little person and also excited to be my non pregnant self again LOL.

We have been doing lots of stuff around the house and hanging out with friends.  It is finally warm out by mid day, but still cool in the mornings.  It won't be long before we are all complaining about how hot it is.

We got a $10 blow up pool at the store and filled it with water for the last 3 days.  Emmett loved going in there and on the hottest day Grant got in there too.
We stopped by Lacey's house one day and Hazel came up to my mom and said this is your doll hahaha.  The doll really does look like my mom with the grey hair.  She called it Grandma Kathy doll.
On Saturday morning we were driving to Target and I noticed a lady crashing into a wall on the opposite side of the road from us.  I said calmly to my mom who was driving I just watched that lady crash into a wall.  My mom didn't see it, but she pulled over and I called 911 and told them there was a down light pole with a possible live wire in the street.  Luckily the lady was fine and no one was hurt.  It was scary though.  Felt like it took the fire and ambulance forever to get there.
Saturday afternoon we went to my friend Karina's house and had a pool party.  It was so much fun! The kids loved it too.

23 Weeks Pregnant What I Wore

Well now I am fully into pregnancy clothes, luckily this time around I don't have an office job to dress for so I can wear cute dresses and shorts and t-shirts.  Its so much easier to dress this time around, especially since its spring/summer.

Both of these tops are not maternity, but I just bought them in a longer style and they still work!
